Elizabeth Van Der Ham, RDH, qualified in Dip. Oral Hygiene at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. She worked for many years in general private practice and has been an iTOP lecturer since 2015.

Elizabeth Van der Ham began her dental career in 1977, graduating with a Diploma in Oral Hygiene from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. She has extensive experience in private practice, specializing in periodontics, implant dentistry, and prosthodontics.

From 2015 to 2018, she served as an iTOP lecturer in South Africa. Elizabeth has held leadership roles with OHASA, including OHASA IFDH Representative, member of the National CPD Accreditation Committee, Immediate Past President, and Secretary of the South African Society of Dental Implantology. She has also contributed to organizing major dental congresses and actively participated in various OHASA committees.

She obtained her Extended Function in Oral Hygiene Certificate from the University of Western Cape in 2018 and continues to advance dental hygiene. Elizabeth is fluent in Afrikaans and English.
