Dr. Yoko Matsushita has been working since 2001 as a part-time general dentist in private practice and as an English interpreter for dental conferences and lectures by prominent international speakers. She is a member of several periodontal, prosthetic, and implant societies.
Yoko Matsushita graduated with a DDS from Kagoshima University Faculty of Dentistry in 1987 and worked at the Prosthodontics and Restorative Department of Kagoshima University Hospital from 1987 to 2001. She also contributed as a faculty member at Kagoshima University Medical and Dental Science.
Since 2001, she has combined part-time general dentistry practice with work as an English interpreter for dental conferences, lectures, and publications. Yoko is actively involved in professional societies, co-founded the Women Dentists' Club in Japan, and has served as a board member of the Osseointegration Study Club of Japan since 2010.
Her current interests include preventive dentistry, gerontology, and geriatric dentistry.
