Dr. Andrea Romero is a periodontist and implantologist who graduated from the University of Cuenca and completed further training in Argentina. She has been teaching at the University of Cuenca since 2015 and is currently the Director of its dental program.

Andrea Romero, DDS, PhD, graduated from Universidad de Cuenca, Ecuador, in 2006. She specialized in Periodontics at Universidad del Salvador, Argentina, and completed a postgraduate program in Implantology in 2012, as well as training in Primary Health Care at Universidad de Bolivar, Ecuador.

She has over ten years of experience in private practice as a periodontist and has been teaching at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universidad de Cuenca, since 2015. Andrea also contributes to the postgraduate program in Periodontics and Implants and currently serves as the director of the Dentistry program at the university, actively engaging in research and community initiatives.
