Dr. Bennete Fernandes is a periodontist and educator who received his Master’s degree from JSS Dental College and an honorary Ph.D. With over 17 years of experience, he is a Fellow in Laser Dentistry and currently teaches at SEGi University, Malaysia.
Dr. Bennete Fernandes is a periodontist and educator with over 17 years of teaching experience. He graduated from KVG Dental College, India, in 1999 and completed his Master’s in Periodontics at JSS Dental College in 2004. He holds an honorary Ph.D. (h.c.) in Medical & Health Professions from IIU (2021) and has specialized training in laser dentistry, including fellowships from the University of Genoa and the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Fernandes has published extensively in indexed journals and is an active member of numerous professional societies, including BSP, IAP, MSP, APSP, and ISP. He has taught in India and Malaysia and is currently contributing to dental education at the Faculty of Dentistry, SEGi University, Malaysia.
