Andrew Terry, CertDT, GradDipDH, MEd, FHEA, is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Medicine and Health, School of Dentistry. Since 2015, he has taught periodontal instrumentation, screening, and oral hygiene to Bachelor of Oral Health and DMD students, supervising initial clinical periodontal treatment and coordinating academic simulation clinics.
With 30 years of clinical experience, Andrew qualified as a Dental Therapist in Queensland (1993) and a Dental Hygienist in London (1998), later validating his credentials in Switzerland. He earned a Master’s in Education (2019) and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2021). His international career spans Australia, the UK, and Switzerland, reflecting a deep commitment to education, clinical excellence, and preventive dentistry.
