Dra. Erika Monteiro Castro graduated from the University of Costa Rica in 2018 and works at EDENTAL Clinic in Alajuela. An advocate for prevention, she has volunteered in underserved communities and completed iTOP Educator training in 2023. She enjoys spending time with her family on the beach.

Erika Andrea Montero Castro graduated with a DDS from the University of Costa Rica in 2018 and is an active member of the College of Dentists of Costa Rica (CCDCR).

She has five years of private clinical experience and currently works at EDENTAL Clinic in Alajuela. Erika is passionate about prevention and patient education, and has participated in volunteer projects providing dental care to underserved populations, including indigenous communities. She completed the iTOP Introductory Course in January 2023 and the iTOP Educator Course in March 2023 in Costa Rica.

Outside of work, Erika is a devoted wife and pet mom. She enjoys spending time with her family, and the beach is her favorite place to relax and unwind.

iTOP represents a clear opportunity to educate and empower my patients. It is a win-win philosophy: we gain knowledge and we gain health. There is a definite before and after knowing the iTOP philosophy, and I feel fortunate to be part of such an incredible initiative.
