Dr. Alberto Hachity holds a master’s degree in pediatric dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. He teaches pediatric dentistry at both undergraduate and graduate levels at the same institution.
Dr. José Alberto Hachity Ortega graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), Mexico, in 1999. He completed his master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the same institution in 2006 and later earned his Doctor of Dental and Health Sciences degree from the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Dr. Hachity has held roles as collaborator of the Mexican Council of Pediatric Dentistry, AC (2021–2023) and as coordinator of the Pediatric Dentistry Graduate Program at BUAP (2018–2023). He also served as President of the Scientific Commission of the Mexican Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AMOP) in 2023.
He participates in national and international research projects, including MEXICARE 1, a survey of dental hard tissue conditions in Mexican children, focusing on incisor hypomineralization (HMI) and dental caries, in collaboration with institutions from Mexico, Colombia, the USA, and Switzerland.
Dr. Hachity is dedicated to preventive dentistry, with a particular focus on pediatric care, research on prevention, and salivary biomarkers in children.
