Dr. Jovita Lawrence D'Souza, BDS, MDS, holds an MDS in Periodontics (2012) and a Diploma in Lasers. She is a lecturer and periodontal specialist at Gulf Medical University, UAE, and has been an iTOP educator since 2022 and lecturer since 2024, focusing on preventive strategies in dental care.

Jovita Lawrence D'Souza, received her Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontics from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India, in 2012. She furthered her expertise with a Diploma in Lasers from the Society of Oral Laser Applications in Vienna and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Her research focuses on lasers, periodontal microbiology, and periodontal regeneration.

Dr. Jovita currently works as a lecturer and periodontal specialist at the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. She has been an iTOP educator since 2022 and became an iTOP Lecturer in July 2024, promoting preventive strategies and patient empowerment for lifelong oral health.
