Dr. Johana Awad is a periodontist and iTOP lecturer who graduated from Andrés Bello University in 2013. She teaches at the National Autonomous University of Honduras and maintains a private practice in Tegucigalpa.
Johana Awad, graduated in Dental Surgery from the National Autonomous University of Honduras in 2006 and specialized in Periodontics and Implants at Andres Bello University, Santiago, Chile (2013). She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Dental Clinic Administration at Tech Monterrey and was certified as an iTOP lecturer in 2023.
Since 2014, Dr. Awad has been a professor in the Department of Periodontics at the National Autonomous University of Honduras, with a focus on preventive and community dentistry. She has also served as a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Honduras in the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Dentistry. She maintains a private practice in Tegucigalpa, specializing in periodontal, surgical, and preventive treatments, and frequently lectures nationally.
Johana is a devoted mother and enjoys traveling throughout Honduras.
