Touch-to-Teach practices for increased oral health self-care

1h English

BIOFILM DISRUPTION FROM MORE THAN A TOOTHBRUSH

Plaque biofilm is not going anywhere, and neither is dental disease that affects billions of people

worldwide. How we disrupt this biofilm involves not only a product we recommend yet also how

we communicate that product to be used. Long term oral health prevention can extend beyond

what we may briefly recommend and should involve a multitude of factors which includes verbal

communication, physical connection and sensory stimulation.

Learning Objectives

– Experience preventive products that will enhance your professional oral health services whilst simultaneously complementing and contributing to an improved yet enjoyable daily oral hygiene routine of our patients.

– Discover how to grow and nurture a trusting yet professional relationship with your patients through physical touch to teach practices.

– Learn & appreciate the details of product manufacturing and how the difference between materials intertwined with technique can benefit your patient‘s long term oral health.
