Basic 2-day training iTOP Basic - a unique course dedicated to the prevention of diseases of soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. It is intended not only for dentists, but also for motivated nurses, dental hygienists and dental students. Morning theoretical lectures are combined with afternoon individual practical exercises with certified iTOP instructors.

Learning Objectives

Why do existing prevention often fail? Is the education of professionals in this field sufficient? At the lecture, we will also discuss in detail the formation of biofilm and dental plaque and the consequences for oral health. How can we control the coating mechanically and chemically? What are the correct and incorrect techniques and aids in oral hygiene?
