Jūratė Žekonienė has a master’s degree in dentistry (1997) by Medical Academy of Kaunas and a periodontologist license by Vilnius University. She has released multiple research papers and textbooks for Lithuanian students and dentists.

Her research in the area dental hygiene and periodontal disease etiopathogenesis focuses on the use of different approaches to maintain excellent oral health and motivation.

She is a graduate of the dentistry program at the Kaunas Medical Academy (now- Lithuanian University of Health Science) , and did the internship and postgraduate education at Vilnius University hospital Zalgirio clinic, where she eventually earned the periodontologist qualification (2000) from Vilnius university. She lives in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she works as a clinical periodontologist.  She is also a lecturer at Vilnius university, involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education mainly focusing on professional oral hygiene, non surgical  periodontal therapy, periodontal examination, disease diagnostics, treatment planning, prognosis. Jūratė is a president of Lithuanian Society of periodontology and  the member of Lithuanian Dental chamber Council, also manages the polyclinic department of Vilnius University hospital Zalgirio clinic.

She has a family of 5: a husband and 3 kids, 1 cat and is an avid traveler and loves reading literature.

Dr. Denis Bourgeois, DMD, MSc, Ph.D, professor in public health at University of Lyon, France is specialist in prevention, health economic and periodontology. Clinical officer in periodontology, his main topics as international lecturer, are microbiota, plaque-induced gingivitis, and strategies in oral prophylaxis to reduce the risk of periodontitis and systemic diseases.

Graduated in 2002 at Faculty of Dentistry at Semmelweis University, Budapest. Then immediately started to work at the dept. of Periodontology at the University to complete her specialization first in general dentistry then in periodontology. She spent 15 years at the department as a clinical doctor and tutor. In addition to clinical work, she took an active part in education and curriculum reform, mainly in the development and organization of pre-clinical courses. In 2009, she founded the Denteam practice, where she built and leads a young, vibrant team of mainly periodontists, with a strong emphasis on high-quality patient-centered care and ongoing professional training.

She is a passionate teacher with over 15 years of experience and a track record of many lectures, half or full-day seminars in topic related to periodontal therapy, maintenance, oral hygiene and implantology. Regularly presenter of graduate and postgraduate courses, hands-on trainings, conferences and iTOP seminars in Hungary and internationally. She is the first instructor of the iTOP trainings in Hungary and the leader of the trainer team. Truly believe in prevention and the importance of periodontology and the fact that oral health is essential to the overall health of the whole body.

Dr. Carla Mora graduated in Dentistry at the Mayor University in Santiago de Chile in 2005. Where she worked as Assistant teacher ad-honorem at the Occlusion Department between 2006 and 2008. She worked as General Dentist at her own Private Practice as a part of a Specialists Team from 2005 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010 she worked at the Restorative and at the Prevention department at the Chilean Army’s Dental Clinic. From 2009 to 2012 she specialised in Periodontology and Implant Surgery at the Los Andes University in Santiago de Chile, becoming a part of the Periodontology department as an assistant teacher in 2011. Also in 2011 she started working as Periodontist and implant surgeon at her private practice. Claudia Berki began her journey in the field of dentistry with her training as a dental assistant ZFA at the University Hospital Hamburg Eppendorf in 1981. During her training, she met Dr. Jiri Sedelmayer.

In 1985, Claudia began further training in dentistry at the North German Advanced Training Institute in Hamburg, graduating as a dental assistant ZMF in 1991. Throughout her career, she has participated in several training courses.

In 1997, after her maternity leave, Claudia had started a collaboration with Dr. Jiri Sedelmayer, which lasted until 2011. Together with Dr. Jiri Sedelmayer, Claudia gave iTOP courses to both university students and dental professionals.

Outside of her dental career, Claudia is married and has a son with whom she enjoys sailing in the summer.
