Periodontics and implant specialist (University of Chile, 2014) based in San José, Costa Rica. A national speaker and clinical professor at the University of Costa Rica, she is dedicated to advancing periodontal and implant care.
Dr. Marisol Palma, DDS, earned her Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Costa Rica in San José in 2009. She completed a fellowship in Periodontics at the same university in 2010, followed by a specialization in Periodontics and Implants from the University of Chile, Santiago, in 2014. During her studies in South America, she also completed a fellowship in Periodontics at the University of Antioquia in Medellín, Colombia (2013).
Since 2014, Dr. Palma has been dedicated to her clinical practice in periodontics and implant dentistry. Alongside her practice, she serves as a professor and clinical instructor in the graduate programs of Prevention and Periodontics at the University of Costa Rica, where she plays an active role in shaping future dental professionals.
A recognized national congress speaker, Dr. Palma regularly presents on topics related to periodontics and preventive dentistry. She continues to advance her expertise through ongoing education, having attended numerous courses and seminars in Periodontics, Periodontal Plastic Surgery (Mucogingival Surgery), and Implantology.
Dr. Palma remains deeply committed to promoting preventive oral health and excellence in periodontal care through both her clinical and academic work.
