About the Speaker

Dr. Javier Rojas
Dr. Javier Rojas is a practicing dentist specializing in prevention, periodontal plastic surgery, and implantology. Alongside his clinical work, he is a researcher in periodontal surgery and teaches preventive dentistry at the postgraduate level.

Active as an iTOP (Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis) lecturer since 2010, Dr. Rojas is known for his interdisciplinary approach, blending insights from various dental fields to develop innovative treatment methods.

He frequently lectures at universities and international congresses on topics such as periodontal plastic surgery, oral disease prevention, and implantology. In Chile, he serves as a visiting professor at UNAB and as a thesis advisor for the MSc in Public Health program at Universidad Mayor. He has also contributed to the development of national public health guidelines for oral hygiene in collaboration with the Chilean Ministry of Health.
