The dental practice of the future
iTOP - short for individually trained oral prophylaxis - is a hands-on training programme designed by Czech prevention pioneer Dr Jirzi sedelmayer. It sets the gold standard for teaching individual prophylaxis, and provides dental professionals with clear guidelines for instructing patients through a learning-by-doing approach. iTOP is increasingly being implemented at universities, offering dental students a rare opportunity to practice their practical biofilm management skills.

Lucie SedelmayerSpeakerMUDr Lucie Sedelmayer graduated 1990 at Charles University, Prague. She is the iTOP Chief Instructor since 2000 and Teacher of Preventive dentistry at Charles University. MUDr Lucie Sedelmayer is one of the founders of Czech preventive association and was elected its president in April 2023.
