In 1989, Gisèle Choquette graduated as a Dental Hygienist. She then attended Montreal University Dental Faculty and obtained her Certificate in 1992.
During 24 years, she practiced as a Dental Hygienist and Treatment Plan Coordinator in a private practice. This clinic was involved with neuromuscular dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal and implant dentistry.
She pursued her studies by numerous complementary training courses, striving continuously to improve herself. Very concerned about her professional improvement, dental hygiene and continuous medical education became her passion.
During these years, she devoted herself to her profession by exploring various expertises in her field of competences.
From 1995 to 2002, she acted as an Administrator for the Quebec Board of Dental Hygienists.
From 2004 to 2007, she went to the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where she attended the following trainings: Certificate in Dynamic Team Concepts, Hygiene and Periodontal Concept, K7 analyst, Core II Advanced Adhesive Aesthetic Dentistry.
In 2007, Periowave Dental Technologies Inc. gave her the title of Clinical Senior Instructor. She trained dental teams on laser sterilisation and periodontal therapy PDD up to date. She was then hired in 2008 as a Speaker and Clinician for IDI (International Dental Institute) in Quebec, and is still offering them training courses. Also, since 2008, she has been a consultant, coach and periodontal trainer for Planident.
In 2010, she received from Dr Jiri Sedelmayer (Hambourg University, Germany), the title of iTOP Clinical Instructor from Curaden Swiss (Curaprox), specialized in dental prophylaxis. She attended their Basic, Advanced and Top level courses in Hungaria, Switzerland, Slovenia and Czechoslovakia. She became their Canadian Instructor and Speaker and is still working as such in 2014, training her colleagues. In 2012, she proudly received the title of Curaprox International Trainer.
She became a ICOI member (Auxiliaries of Dental Implant and Practice Management) by attending many congresses in 2002 to 2019, as of today. She has been also a Senior Clinical Trainer for Citagenix in 2010-2011.
In 2012, she got her Fellow title in Implant Dentistry.
